Jim Matthews, Montgomery County Commissioner, made it official today -- he is running for the GOP Lt. Gov spot. Here is his announcement. My two previous Matthews posts are here and here.
The only other officially declared Republican candidate is Greg Sahd of Lancaster County.
Rumor was that John Pippy was also interested but nothing has been said (in print or Internet that I could find) lately; too bad I liked him. The GOP continues to avoid candidates that would tempt me to cross vote.
