SEPTA is planning monthly "safety blitz" events at selected train stations. This morning SEPTA representatives were at the Ambler train station to talk to commuters about the dangers of railroad crossings. They distributed leaflets with safety trips for traveling near railroads. This may or may not be related to the increase in deaths of people walking along or on train tracks. "Safety blitz" events will continue until autumn. There are some safety tips on SEPTA's website.
