Madeleine Dean is the Democratic candidate for the 153rd state house district, which has been without representation since January when State Rep. Josh Shapiro resigned to become a Montgomery County commissioner. She is running in the special election to finish out Shapiro's current term, and as the only Democratic candidate in the April primary.
Saturday she and her husband celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary by opening her campaign office. The campaign website is also up, though some pages are still being developed. See www.madeleinedean.com for more information.
