PA Progressive Summit in Philly This February

Today Keystone Progress Executive Director Michael Morrill and Jonathan A. Saidel, who served as Philadelphia’s City Controller for sixteen years announced that the Pennsylvania Progressive Summit will be held in Philadelphia February 10-12. This is the 3rd annual gathering of progressive activist, elected officials and candidates. Over a thousand people are expected to attend. Speakers, including the keynote speaker, have not been announced yet. Previous conferences have featured numerous panels and workshops, as well as nationally known speakers. Those interested in attending should check out http://www.paprogressivesummit.org/. The list of workshops, speakers, and events from last year are posted so that people can get a sense of what the summit entails. Conference organizers are soliciting suggestions for panels. This is a chance for the ambitious, well-connected, and well-informed to suggest a panel and panelists. The summit will bring in business to local hotels, restaurants and tourist attractions.
