Can someone explain to me why, between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., during the "Penocchio 3000" movie, Cartoon Network is running ads for "Sex and the City" on TBS? Our computer is in the same room as the tv. I'm reading email, scanning blogs, and suddenly a little voice says, "Mommy, what's sexy mean?" I glance over at the tv and nearly jump out of my skin. Fortunately it was the ad showcasing shoes and not some of Samantha's exploits.
I watched "Sex and the City" when it was on and still enjoy the reruns -- after the kids are asleep, not when they are in the room!!! That's why they are limited to Cartoon Network, Nick, and Animal Planet.
I definitely feel a complaint letter coming on. Someone in marketing must have read that part about Penocchio's nose and gotten the wrong idea.

I definitely don't qualify cartoon network as kid-safe, after some of the stuff I've seen on there (even in the non-adult swim hours). Nick's probably a much safer bet, I'd think...
Howard, what have I missed?
Well besides the fact that i belive you are christian who wants to encapsulate children to the very restraining and castrating moral values stablished by archaic standings of a godfearing society, why write a complaint letter while you could just explain to your child and prepare him for a healthy sexual development, dont change the channel. Your kid has a question? face it and explain, explainig, thats a parents role, not overprotecting. Btw penocchio 3000 instead of pinocchio 3000 is a pretty strong italian porn production. So you see its a 1 letter difference and a drastic change so its that easy to get acces to erotic material, the more you want to protect, the harder it gets and the lesspositive results, my advice dont protest, adapt. Btw Howard what kind of a close minded fool you are... "ccartoon network isnt kid-safe" I will call you a dumbass at risk of my comment not being posted
"Anonymous"- That's the biggest bunch of bull I have ever read! YOU obviously don't have children, and if you do, I feel sorry for them!
You are ignorant, small-minded, dumb and clueless!
