Now that the war is over, what are our troops coming home to? Here are five things President Obama has done to support the troops as they return:
1.       President Obama implemented the most comprehensive veterans benefits for education since the original G.I. Bill of 1944. [Source: LA Times] link:
2.       The President signed the Caregivers and Veterans Omnibus Health Services Act two years ago, improving care for 1.8 million women who served in the Armed Forces. [Source: White House] link:
3.       The President signed two tax credits into law—the Returning Heroes Tax Credit and the Wounded Warriors Tax Credit—which encourage businesses to hire veterans and those with disabilities. [Source: White House]
