A Few Committee Assignments

State Rep. Mike Schlossberg, D-Lehigh, learned yesterday he will serve on the House Transportation, Health and State Government committees, assignments made by House Democratic Leader Frank Dermody. 

State Rep. Brian Sims, D-Phila., was appointed this week to serve on three House committees: Commerce, Professional Licensure and State Government.  

Both of these newly elected state representatives are on the State Government Committee.  They're going to be seeing some significant legislation.  I think this is the committee that handles things like voter ID and redistricting.  So, congratulations!  and don't mess it up.
