Mitt Romney, Anglo-Saxon

The Romney campaign got some bad press this past week for a typo in an Iphone app, it read A Better Amercia instead of A Better America.  I didn't read it as a typo initially, though.  Surely I'm not the only one whose brain went straight to the Anglo-Saxon kingdom of Mercia.  Good old Mercia.  All those rulers named Aethelred.  One king named Icel founded a dynasty called the Iclings (not to be confused with the Inklings -- they're a different group altogether). 

So I see this as Romney returning to his ancestral roots, as Romney is an Anglo-Saxon name.
