Two Patrick Murphy Notes

Those following Congressman Patrick Murphy's (D-08)political and legislative work might be interested in these two news items:

"Straight guys tell," by Michael Gross, in the Advocate, 11/09, on the proposed repeal of "don't ask, don't tell," and Congressman Murphy's leadership on that issue. It's five screens long but if you go through the whole thing carefully you can find a spot where Murphy uses the "f" word.

According to cnn's politicalticker is reporting (in "First on the Ticker: Obama enlists Hollywood in new ad," by Mark Preston), Murphy will be among the celebrities and politicos who will judge a contest that asks grassroots supporters to create television commercials promoting health care reform.
