Josh Drobnyk, over at Pennsylvania Avenue, has the transcript of former Gov. Tom Ridge's speech at the Republican National Convention this evening. You can find video on YouTube.
For the record, I do not approve of actions that disrupt conventions or other political events solely to score points for the other side. It does not serve any purpose other than to make the protesters, and those associated with them, look immature and disrespectful. There are a number of other, better, options for expressing opinion.

Those of us who passionately understand and appreciate the Bill of Rights must always speak out in support of those who gather in public to state their views. If we lose our First Amendcment freedoms (as we already have, in part, by condoning free-speech-exclusion "zones" around the Conventions in 2004 and in 2008), we will quickly lose all other freedoms.
