It should be noted that I routinely do not read the editorials in the WSJ. So any discussions of the state, its elected officials, businesses, or citizens, in editorials will not be mentioned here.

Other Interesting Tidbits
“Florida firms fight to keep gun free workplace,” by Dan Slater (8/18) is on a law in Florida that allows employees with concealed weapons permits to keep guns in their cards. Disney says it fits the exemption for firms that import or deal with explosive materials because of their fireworks.
This is disturbing, from “Rules let health workers deny abortions,” by Stephanie Simon (8/22):
The Bush administration has proposed stronger protection for health-care workers who refuse to participate in abortions, issuing a sweeping regulation that could also undercut success that could also undercut access to birth-control pills and other forms of contraception.
