A few things have crossed my screen concerning maps recently.
Young Philly Politics has a post on a really interesting service that will let you map out, for example, where subprime mortgages were in Philadelphia or education levels, and so on. Policy Map looks very intriguing.
In other mapping news, the Philadelphia Police Dept. will let you map out crimes in specific geographic areas. (h/t LI)
