Mary Jo Daley to Replace Gerber on Ballot

State Rep. Mike Gerber decided not to run for re-election.  Democrats in the 148th district have selected his replacement.  Mary Jo Daley is the new Democratic candidate.  According to the press release:

Daley has a long-history of public service to her community, including serving twenty years on Narberth Borough Council, ten of which she served as president.  She has participated in numerous civic organizations. She earned a Masters in Government Administration from the Fels Institute at the University of Pennsylvania . Daley is employed as a financial officer at Penn, and is directly responsible for balancing an 18 million dollar annual budget that supports some of the world's most important and groundbreaking biomedical research.
