On Friday, the third anniversary of President Obama signing the American
Recovery and Reinvestment Act into law, Congressman Bob Brady,
Pennsylvania State Treasurer Rob McCord and Pennsylvania AFL-CIO
President Rick Bloomingdale held a press conference call to highlight
the fact that American manufacturers are creating jobs for the longest
stretch since the 1990s. In the past 30 months, they have added nearly
400,000 jobs across the country. Instead of cutting jobs or shipping
them abroad, American companies are now "insourcing," or bringing overseas jobs back home.
