Congressman Patrick Murphy, the first Iraq War veteran elected to Congress (in 2006) has made the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" a signature issue. Murphy leaves office at the end of this month and wants to make one more effort to change the military policy that allows for discrimination based on sexual orientation. While previous attempts have been attached to other bills, the new bill concerns solely the DADT repeal.
