Kanjorski (PA-11), the Chairman of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Capital Markets, Insurance, and Government Sponsored Enterprises, was named as a negotiator for the House-Senate conference committee on H.R. 4173, the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
