We did the same thing! My mother-in-law brought the stuff over because she heard about it. It was fun and I didn't feel bad about wasting the Diet Coke since the stuff is essentially poison.
Seems to me that you're the type to try mixing brake fluid with Clorox. :D I might try this fun experiment of yours, too.
