Looking for something to do this Saturday?
Essential Element, a new Pennsylvania company, has invented a water purifier powered by solar hydrogen energy. Saturday they will be demonstrating the HYDRA, which can provide 20,000 gallons of purified drinking water a day, at the Franklin Institute's Earth Fair. The demo will be outside, near the front steps, from 1:30 to 4:30, with water purifications on the hour.
The HYDRA made it's Philly debut last month at the Fairmount Water Works.
