To remind the public of the dangers of walking along, playing by or cutting across train and trolley tracks, rail yards and depots, SEPTA will hold our first-ever “Make the Safe Choice” Safety Awareness Day on Wednesday, May 1. During the morning rush 500 Authority employees, City Year corps members and other transit partners will distribute educational materials and answer safety questions at more than 160 SEPTA rail, trolley and bus stations, loops and transportation centers throughout the Authority’s five-county service area. Safety messages will also be displayed on the Authority's vehicles and in our stations.
