Over the past year or so I've written about the communities in Pennsylvania that have pass non-discrimination clauses or ordinances, adding legal protections for sexual orientation (see previous posts here and here).
Two more communities, both in Montgomery County, have passed such laws. Cheltenham Township passed such an ordinance in February ("No discrimination in Cheltenham," by Natalie Hope McDonald, Philadelphia Magazine blog, 2/16/2012). Abington Township, Cheltenham's northern neighbor, passed a similar ordinance in April ("Anti-discrimination ordinance passed in Abington Township," by Jarreau Freeman, Montgomery Media, 4/24/2012)
