State Rep. Bryan Lentz , D-Delaware (161st district), and the South East Pennsylvania Transportation Authority will hold a job fair for Delaware County residents interested in applying for job openings with SEPTA.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 11 at Lentz’s Swarthmore office, 630 Fairview Road, Suite 104 .
Residents may apply for positions involving trolleys, buses or high-speed rail. Positions are also available for electricians.
“ Delaware County residents know Delaware County roads, so it makes sense for SEPTA to hire from within the county,” Lentz said. “This provides an opportunity for local residents to have a good-paying job with benefits that allows them to work in Delaware County , close to home.
