Assorted News Notes and Links

Here are a few interesting items from assorted resources:

No Labels has posted a list of ways to make sure Congress is effective.  I think they would go a long way toward getting things done.  Examples:  no budget, no congressional pay; don't let Congress segregate by party -- mix up the seating charts.  (via Just Between Strangers)

Tips that are guaranteed to prevent sexual assault.  I was skeptical but after reading them I'm convinced that if people followed these guidelines it would absolutely reduce sexual assaults. (via Just Between Strangers).

Lauren Innovations announced today that it has been added to the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) federal supplier list as an authorized vendor of their unique web-based technology software NaviGate which provides critical information solutions at anytime from anywhere for government agencies.




On Wednesday, January 28th, the National Constitution Center will announce a yearlong series of onsite and online programs to celebrate the Constitution's 225th anniversary.  Delaware Gov. Markell and other dignitaries will be on hand for the celebration kickoff.
