PA Tops in Kids Jailed for Life

In last Friday's WSJ there is an article, "Judges forced to revisit juveniles' life sentences," by Nathan Koppel. It is on juveniles serving life without parole. The accompanying graph lists the 2,589 kids in this category, broken down by state. nearly a fifth, or 444, are in Pennsylvania. That puts us at the top of the list. The second state, Michigan, has 346.

This is a distinction we can do without.
