Two More Obama News Bits

Those nice Obama people keep sending me newsy bits. Here are two recent notes:

1) Sen. Obama held a rally in Wilmington this past weekend that over 20,000 people attended. Video is available.

2) Kate Michelman, who had been supporting John Edwards has announced that she is endorsing Sen. Obama. Her remarks are at the Huffington Post.

I think its pretty scarey when people are giving there lives for our country and we have a man like Sen. Obama that refuses to even wear a lapel flag that all senators and members of the house wear. Also, he refuses to put his hand over his heart during the Pledge of Allegence. The fact that he would become President is pretty damn scarey to me. He talks a good talk but can't people see that he has nothing to back it up with that he actually ever did. People should really look into the facts and not let a fast talker influence them.

Thank you for writing.

Not all senators or congressional representatives always wear a flag pin. Realistically, how could anyone ALWAYS wear one? Would they have it on while swimming? Mowing the lawn? John McCain's spokesman says he does not wear one on a daily basis either.

(See http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,299578,00.html).

If we went by the flag pin standard there is no one we could vote for.

Regarding the pledge issue, I refer you to this site which provides further information:
