Around the Blogs

Just a few notes, though you probably know already:

Sen. Arlen Specter showed his funny bone at the Funniest Celebrity in Washington last week. Pennsyltucky Politics has videos imbedded in a blog post. Specter pokes fun at Bob Dole's viagra use and let's us all know he's still a natural member of the Sharp Pencil PAC (everyone in unison now, EEEWWWWWWWWW!)

According to Capitol Idea's southern cousin, Pennsylvania Avenue, Philadelphia Magazine editor Larry Platt had his DC debut with the DCCC today. Platt is trying out for the part of Democratic challenger for the 6th congressional district. This is in keeping with the new PA policy of having more than one congressional representative with the same name. We have two Murphys at the moment and a Platts already.
