Two New Open Records Resources

From the inbox, two new open records resources:

The PA Newspaper Association just launched a new blog to spotlight their effort to pass open records reform, www.passopenrecords.org.

A new Freedom of Information Act wiki is in the works, www.wikifoia.org:

WikiFoia’s aim is to provide an extensive and growing "How To" guide for practical, concrete assistance for regular citizens who are thinking about filing an open records request in any state. With WikiFoia, people who are interested in using or learning about state sunshine laws can come together to share their experiences. Some citizens feel very intimidated by the open records process and wonder if they should leave it up to reporters and attorneys to do that kind of work.

Thanks again for the mention, Jane!

Jane, we added your blog to the Pennsylvania section of the www.wikifoia.org as an "accountability blog". If there are any other blogs that should be in that section, please spread the word--anyone can add a listing.
